DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Pickleball Carnival of Events. Designed for p
 layers aged 18 and up\, this 4-week series offers a fun and competitive 
 atmosphere where you’ll explore various game formats and have the chance
  to team up with players of different skill levels. This 4-week series w
 ill take place from 7:30-9:15pm on Tuesdays 5/5\, 5/12\, 5/19\, and 5/26
  at Bethesda Park.\n\nEach week will be a different format including:\n\
 nUp and Down the River: This is a fun variation of open play. Players ar
 e initially assigned to a court randomly and then play a series of time 
 limited games with short breaks in between. After each game\, the winnin
 g team moves up a court\, the losing team moves down a court\, and partn
 ers split for the next game.\n\nLadder Style: You will be assigned to a 
 foursome and a court to begin play. You will play one game with each of 
 the others in your foursome for a total of three games.\n\nTournament-st
 yle. You will be partnered with a player and play either a round-robin o
 r double-elimination style tournament depending on the composition of th
 e attendees.\n\nLeague-Play Style: You will placed on teams and teams wi
 ll compete as a whole.\n\nAll participants must be at least 18 years of 
 age and must have recreational pickleball experience prior to registerin
 g. The focus is on fun\, improving your game\, and meeting and competing
  with others. Registration closes on 4/28/2026 and space is limited to 2
 4 participants. Rain date will be held on June 2nd\, 2026\n\nAges: 18 yr
