SUMMARY:Moth Week Celebration at Sandy Pines Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Sandy Pines Preserve on Friday\, July 24th from 8:
 00 pm—11:00 pm to celebrate Moth Week!\n\nWe will use a common method of
  surveying moths called light sheeting\, which involves setting up a she
 et in a natural area and shining a bright light on it to attract moths a
 nd other nocturnal insects. We'll monitor the sheet throughout the night
  and identify anything that lands.\n\nWe'll meet in the Sandy Pines park
 ing lot at 8:00 pm (7201 Doc Procter Rd\, Wendell\, NC 27591) and work a
 djacent to the parking lot and artificial wetland.\n\nWhat to bring:\nLi
 ght (headlamp or flashlight preferable)\, close-toed shoes\, chair\, sna
 ck\, water\, dark clothing\n\nWhat not to bring:\nPets\, bug spray (it's
  harmful to the insects we'll be working with)\n\nFinal decisions regard
