SUMMARY:Paint the Parks: En Plein Air Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Artists are invited to come out to Wake County parks and pres
 erves to participate in the Paint the Parks: En Plein Air Celebration in
  commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Wake County’s Park\, Recreatio
 n and Open Space system! Artists can register to paint at a specific par
 k or preserve\, adhering to the specific rules of that location\, from p
 ark opening to 30 minutes before closing on the specified date. The goal
  is to create a piece that celebrates that location's unique features an
 d beauty. The maximum canvas size for each painting is 16” width x 20” h
 eight\, but smaller sizes are also welcome. Each artist may submit one p
 ainting to the traveling art exhibition* and must drop off their artwork
  at Beech Bluff County Park by June 15th to be considered. The traveling
  exhibition will move to different Wake County Parks from July to Decemb
 er. Please note that artists must bring and use their own supplies and s
 et up in a location that does not block access to any facilities.\n*Depe
 nding on the quantity of artwork submitted\, the artwork may be subject 
 to a juried review to select which pieces will be included in the travel
 ing art exhibition. Artists will be responsible for framing their work.\
