About the event

In this month's Maker STEAM Take and Make, you'll find materials to celebrate this year's "Stories that Built US" LibraryFest theme with tools to write your own stories, including wooden storytelling tiles, a small journal, and more! Resources, information, and links about writing both fiction and nonfiction also included.

Kits are located in the shelving unit outside of the Innovation Lab on the Third Floor at Main Library for you to take home and complete.

Mulch Yard Open to Public

The City’s General Services Department is opening its mulch yard to the public beginning April 18, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to noon. The yard will offer wood chips produced by our Urban Forestry team - a natural blend of hardwood and softwood chips ideal for landscaping and gardening projects.
