About the event

Intermediate (3.0 - 3.5) players are invited to register for this traditional DAYTIME Pickleball ladder playing at Piney Wood Park on Thursday mornings (8-weeks) from 9/3- 10/22. Players will pair with 3 different partners and compete in 3 games weekly against doubles pairs with similar skill levels. Players move up or down the ladder based on the scores they earn each week. All participants must be at least 18 years of age, play consistently in the 3.0-3.5 range, and have recreational pickleball experience prior to registering. The focus is on fun, improving your game, meeting and competing with other players in this sport. The deadline to register is August 27th and space is limited to 48 participants. Game start times are assigned weekly at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m and will start promptly. Players should be available for both start times and plan on 90 minutes on the courts.

The City’s General Services Department is opening its mulch yard to the public beginning April 18, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to noon. The yard will offer wood chips produced by our Urban Forestry team - a natural blend of hardwood and softwood chips ideal for landscaping and gardening projects.
