About the event

This flag football class is designed for girls ages 8 to 12, offering a fun and inclusive environment where they can learn the fundamentals of the game. Participants will develop essential skills such as passing, receiving, and teamwork, all while building confidence and making new friends. Through engaging drills and friendly scrimmages, girls will get the chance to improve their coordination, sportsmanship, and strategic thinking. Whether they are new to the sport or looking to refine their skills, this class provides a supportive space for all levels of experience.

Mulch Yard Open to Public

The City’s General Services Department is opening its mulch yard to the public beginning April 18, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to noon. The yard will offer wood chips produced by our Urban Forestry team - a natural blend of hardwood and softwood chips ideal for landscaping and gardening projects.
