Is there life out there beyond Earth's boundaries?
Join the Maker STEAM team to explore 5 drop-in stations about space research on what life beyond Earth might be like if it did exist. In these stations, you can:
Explore the surface of Mars through 3D printed models from images the Viking Orbiters took Research and design an example of what life on Mars might be like if it exists Sort planetary objects in gas giants or rocky planetoids Decorate a 3D printed UFO spinner Experience visual projection through a Pepper's Ghost experiment
This program is drop-in, no registration required. Please join us between 4:30 and 5:30pm in the Innovation Lab on 3rd floor of Main Library. This event is for all ages; children under age 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
This program is a precursor to the Aliens! It's (almost) Never Aliens! program occurring in the Main Auditorium from 6-7:30pm. Meet Brand Fortner, the presenter, during this earlier program to ask questions, then listen to his presentation in the auditorium at 6pm! Please register for the auditorium program here.
