About the event

Learn how to use a sewing machine and hand sew with Connecting with Threads. This is a series of programs where teens and tweens will be able to build their knowledge as they become independent sewers. Other dates in this series are as follows: April 11, April 25, May 9, May 23, June 6, and June 20. This program is for teens and tweens ages 9 and up! Registration is required!

Mulch Yard Open to Public

The City’s General Services Department is opening its mulch yard to the public beginning April 18, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to noon. The yard will offer wood chips produced by our Urban Forestry team - a natural blend of hardwood and softwood chips ideal for landscaping and gardening projects.
