About the event

Come stitch a quilt that resembles a classic children's book cover! Quilts will be donated to children in need in the Durham community. For teen, tweens, and crafters of all ages. All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own sewing machine, if you prefer.

Mulch Yard Open to Public

The City’s General Services Department is opening its mulch yard to the public beginning April 18, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to noon. The yard will offer wood chips produced by our Urban Forestry team - a natural blend of hardwood and softwood chips ideal for landscaping and gardening projects.
