About the event

If the idea of a "mixer" makes you want to find that quiet corner seat next to the snacks and stay there, welcome home. Most networking advice uses a one-size-fits-all approach that doesn't always account for how we're wired.

This is for the rest of us—the observers, the listeners, and those who notice the small details others might miss. We aren’t here to change who you are; we’re here to help you activate your natural traits and turn them into your greatest professional asset.

Who Should Be There:

Early in your career: Learn the "cheat codes" to networking before you burn out trying to play a character that isn't you. The "Curious" (Nosey) Extroverts: We see you. Come see how we navigate the world The Workforce Folks: You want to find real talent? Stop looking at the loudest person and start looking at the one who’s actually processing the data.

The "Business Whisperer" Reality Check: We’re going deep into the science of why our brains work differently. It’s not "shyness"—it’s Business Intelligence.

⚠️ SPOILER ALERT: This is a live session. We’re doing Intro’speriments.

Pro-Tip: Show up early. Scout your seat. Get settled. We’re going to practice networking in a way that doesn’t drain you.

Jacinta Walker's Bio: The Business Whisperer

I’m a professional growth architect and strategic consultant with 25 years of experience mastering the "Invisible Edge." People call me the Business Whisperer and the Networking Queen, which is a bit of a paradox: I’m a high-functioning introvert who can work a room better than most extroverts.

The Secret? I’m not playing a character—I’m activating my observation skills. While everyone else focuses on the noise, I listen for what isn't being said.

Why No One Believes I’m an Introvert: If you’ve seen me on stage at 1 Million Cups or leading a session at the Durham Tech, you’d think I was born for the spotlight. But I’ll be the first to tell you that after a day of "Real Talking," my only goal is a nap to recharge. I don’t see introversion as a barrier; I see it as a SUPERPOWER for deep connection and strategic business intelligence.
