About the event

The Town of Carrboro's Climate and Environmental Advisory Commission (CEAC) advises the Town Council on policies, ordinances, and administrative procedures regarding environmental protection and the conservation of natural resources. The areas of review for the CEAC include new development, solid waste, air quality, climate protection and resilience, energy conservation, solar energy, groundwater, natural resources, environmental justice, and other areas.

Mulch Yard Open to Public

The City’s General Services Department is opening its mulch yard to the public beginning April 18, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to noon. The yard will offer wood chips produced by our Urban Forestry team - a natural blend of hardwood and softwood chips ideal for landscaping and gardening projects.
