Budding Sprouts: Leaves to Roots

About the event

Now is a perfect time to harvest many of our summer crops. For some crops, we eat what grows above the ground and others we eat what grows in the dirt. Join us as we walk around our demonstration garden and food forest to group our crops into tops and bottoms. We’ll read Tops and Bottoms by Janet Stevens, make a craft and harvest crops that are ready. We will meet at the Harvest Hub. For ages 2-5 with an accompanying adult.
