About the event

We see trees every day, but how do they survive and grow so big? Learn about the different parts of a tree and why they are important! We will read Be a Tree by Maria Gianferrair. Then, we will take a walk along the wooded Education Loop and talk about the parts of a tree, what they do, and work together to make a tree! For ages 3 – 5 with an accompanying adult.

Schedule: May 9, 2026 Saturday from 10am to 11am

Duration: 1 hour

Ages: Age at least 3 yrs but less than 6 yrs,
